The Superhero Photo Booth

We set out to make this a simple/cheap project. It turned out to be anything but. Originally we were going to get a shower curtain for the backdrop and some cheap masks and capes for props.

We couldn't find a shower curtain that matched the superhero theme so we decided to make one ourselves. First we bought acrylic paint and a plastic shower curtain. The paint flaked of the shower curtain. Did some more research and read a blog where someone had used a sheet to make a shower curtain and used acrylic paint on the sheet. This worked. Found an image that we liked for inspiration. So the fun began...

Between the two of us we spent probably 15 hours on this project. That doesn't include the time it took me to sew the capes.

We put the photo booth up in a small cabin near our reception. We used my canon rebel xti on a tripod. We had a remote so that guests could take their own pictures and a . In retrospect I really wish we had been able to have someone else taking the pictures. At one point one of the guests zoomed in so there were some afterwards that were too close up.

A couple of fun shots from the photo booth
