Superheros at the Wedding

Some where along the way we started including more and more superheros in to our wedding plan. What started with hubby wanting a batman wedding band turned in to Batman cufflinks, a superhero grooms cake, my Wonder Woman garter, Batman gifts for the groomsmen, and then finally our superhero photo booth (which turned it to the biggest project we did).

The Batman wedding band was easy to find. We turned to ebay. As we did for the cufflinks, ribbon and button for the garter, action figures for the cake and the Batman belt buckles we gave the boys as junior groomsmen gifts.

 The sign that my nephew was suppose to carry down the aisle, unfortunately he hadn't had a nap and just wasn't up for it. The sign is made of foam core using the this font
 The Groom's Cake! The action figures had to be ordered from the UK because they don't have them in the United States. The link is here.
The buildings are made of fondant and then colored with food coloring pens.

The photo booth was a bit more complicated. A full length post to follow about the trials and tribulations of a DIY superhero photo booth.

So our whimsical rustic wedding turned it to whimsy with a bit of quirky,
